The Ciudad Politécnica de la Innovación (Polytechnic City of Innovation) is the Science Park of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) It is built according to an Open Collaboration Network with a flexible configuration, bringing together public and private actors who voluntarily share their knowledge and resources.
It is the result of the UPV's commitment to the economic development of the Valencia Region, of its tradition of cooperation with public and private organizations from all over the world, and of its leadership position as a pole of innovation in Spain.
The Polytechnic City of Innovation (CPI) Network is structured in three complementary action levels:
- local
- more than 25 municipalities, business clusters and promoting bodies from the province of Valencia are involved in it.
- national
- collaboration with more than 100 public and private organizations of the Spanish R+D+i system
- international
- partnerships with more than 200 public and private research organizations and innovation promotion bodies around the world.
Those Research Centers represent the entire R+D+I potential of the UPV, integrating more than 3,000 researchers on a total of 140,000 m2 of scientific infrastructure.
