Paterna promotes economic reactivation post Covid19 and the attraction of companies with bonuses on the IAE

The City Council of Paterna has approved today in plenary session a modification of the tax law that will allow companies to request a bonus from the Trade Income Tax (IAE) based on a greater or lesser negative performance.

This way, the council aims to help the economic reactivation of the business sector of the city, applying discounts in the IAE to those companies that have had more losses or lower growth, many of them, due to the economic crisis caused by the coronavirus .

The modification of the IAE ordinance is, according to the Councilor for Finance, Roberto Usina, "a measure that will serve to boost economic activity and local industry."

Usina has also highlighted that "the economic reactivation of our city and the attraction of investments are fundamental for the recovery after the crisis caused by COVID-19".

In this regard, he has added that "from the socialist government team we are committed to tax credits that attract companies, to promote entrepreneurship with measures such as the Entrepreneurial Check and to help companies to be more competitive and innovative with the Digital Transformation Check" .
