La Generalitat impulsa las estaciones de recarga de vehículos eléctricos con ayudas del IVACE a las empresas

The Regional Area of Sustainable Economy, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor, through Ivace, has started the program to promote the implementation of electric vehicle charging stations in the Community. These grants are aimed at entities and companies, both large and SMEs, that have until March 8 to present the projects. (SEE DOCUMENTATION)

Thus, as published this Tuesday by the Official Diary of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV), the cost of installing electric vehicle charging stations will be supported, with subsidies with a limit of 40% of the eligible cost, which may be increased by 10 percentage in the case of aid granted to small and medium-sized companies or to the non-economic activities of cities, public entities and non-profit entities and institutions.

The projects that can be presented are of three types: recharge stations with an electric power of 50kW (DC) and 44 kW (AC) of public access, the semi-rapid recharge public access stations (with a higher available electrical power at 20 kW in direct or alternating current) and for all those private stations that provide charging services for electric vehicles, not included in the previous typologies.

According to Ivace Energy estimations, the annual economic savings in electricity compared to a vehicle that uses conventional fuel is around 60%. Thus, with 2.5 euros, an electric vehicle covers 100 km, and if the recharging is carried out at night, it is reduced to one euro. Traveling the same distance with diesel fuel costs approximately 5.5 euros.

Transport is the largest consumer of energy in the Valencian Community, as reported by the Generalitat. It concentrates 40% of all the energy consumed in the territory, with the aggravating circumstance that, in its great majority, it uses oil as the source of energy, causing most of the polluting gases.

For this reason, the aim is to facilitate the transition to a new type of more sustainable mobility in which forms of transport that are not dependent on oil derivatives take center stage.

During the past year, the Ivace granted aid for the installation of 168 electric recharging points in the territory. Thus, according to Ivace data, these recharging points will prevent the emission into the atmosphere of 1,237 tons of CO2 per year and, in turn, will annually save 450,000 in fuel.

Fast recharge points take 20 minutes to recharge 80%; the so-called semi-fast points need about 1.5 hours to recharge; and slow recharging points need approximately 6-7 hours to recharge..

These grants are framed within the actions foreseen in the Plan for the Promotion of Electric Vehicles and Deployment of Recharging Infrastructure prepared by Ivace.

The Plan establishes for 2030 an electric vehicle market share of 25% of the total vehicles sold in the territory. Along with the implementation of the electric vehicle, the Electric Vehicle Promotion Plan also includes the recharge deployment infrastructure.
