Paterna City Council has released the name of the 18 finalists for the next edition of the II Paterna City of Business Awards, an association chaired by the Mayor Juan Antonio Sagredo.
The award ceremony, which will be held next Wednesday, November 8, at 7:00 p.m. at the Grand Theater Antonio Ferrandis, aims to recognize the figure of business located in Paterna and to publicize its contribution to today's society.
In this sense, Juan Antonio Sagredo has thaked the high participation of companies, with more than 60 applications, and has congratulate all the finalists and recognize "the great potential of the selected companies, an example of the quality of our industrial fabric "
The first of the gala awards will go to the Entrepreneur of the Year, a category that includes the company Nunsys, specialized in the implementation of comprehensive technology solutions in both private companies and public entities; Bet Solar, a benchmark in the distribution of photovoltaic solar energy for isolated installations, self-consumption and solar pumping both nationally and internationally; and the Valencian technology company NBN23, developer of software and Apps related to the sports world.
In the Business Research and Innovation category, the finalist arePolymer Char, a leading company in research, development and manufacturing of polymer analytical instrumentation; the multinational of equipment for automobiles Faurecia; and the technology company NBN23.
The finalists forSocially Responsible Companies are Novaterra Catering, a company dedicated to the fight against poverty and social exclusion through training and socio-labor insertion, specialized in catering services; the Technological Institute of Plastics, AIMPLAS, which offers comprehensive solutions to companies in the plastics sector; and LAIEX, qcompany, which produces emulsions and innovative compounds for Spain, Italy, the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Poland and Brazil.
Regarding the award for International Career and Projectionthose selected are Bet Solar, a Valencian company leader in technical distribution of photovoltaic material, GRID, SL, dedicated to comprehensive achievements of both ephemeral and permanent design; andDAS AUDIO, a company known worldwide, dedicated to the design and manufacture of sound reinforcement systems.
In the Women Entrepreneur categorythe finalist are Rosalía Mellado from Lasertall, a company that offers laser cutting services for different materials, mainly steels; Carolina Verdés Pastor, fromB2B Corporación Jurídica, dedicated to legal and tax advice, both nationally and internationally; and the director of Mas Camarena Educational Center, Maite Marín Medina, who for the past 5 years heads the lists of the best schools in Spain.
Finally, in the category created this year aimed at recognizing the figure of the self-employed businessman, the Local Micropyme award, the fianlist are the photographer Enrique Oliver, who has an extensive track record and recognition both nationally and internationally; Concha Pinazo Inmobiliaria, one of the best known agencies in Paterna; and the legal advice and economic-tax services and consulting firm, B2B Corporación Jurídica.
