The City Council of Paterna and the L’Andana Business Association have signed a collaboration agreement with the aim of strengthening the joint commitment to promote and improve the companies located in the industrial area.

With this agreement, which has been signed by the Mayor of Paterna, Juan Antonio Sagredo and the President of the Business Association, Carmen Pi, and by which the City Council makes a financial contribution of 20,000 euros, the first mayor seeks to renew and modernize the equipment and infrastructures in this 35.77-hectare area on which about 50 companies are located.

As Sagredo explained"by signing this agreement, solutions will be given to access problems, which for years the companies in the industrial estate have claimed with the repair of the rural road."

For her part, Carmen Pi has indicated that , "in addition to improving access, road paint will be renewed to facilitate circulation through the industrial estate and new hydrants will be built that will contribute to increasing safety in the business area.".

During the meeting, Juan Antonio Sagredo has also taken the opportunity to convey to the President of the association the consistory's commitment to promoting companies established in the municipality to continue attracting new businesses to its five industrial estates.

In this sense, the Mayor, who is also President of the Paternal City Association of Companies, has highlighted "the importance of creating synergies with the different industrial estates" and recalled that "the signing of agreements with the different industrial areas is framed within the Economic Development Strategy that the City Council is promoting to promote and consolidate the national and international projection of Paterna companies ”.
