The City Council of Paterna has called the Employment Check 2018 , a subsidy aimed at promoting the labor insertion of the residents of the city through aid to companies.
As explained by the counselor for the Protection of People and Citizenship Rights, Julio Fernández "this year we have increased the amount of the check by 100 euros, reaching 700 euros per month for a minimum 6-month contract"
This way, companies can benefit from aid of up to 4,200 euros, depending on the duration of the hiring, the situation in which the unemployed are, as well as the type of contract, whether it is full-time or part-time.
In addition, Fernández has assured that "this initiative aims to promote permanent contracts, with special attention to the long-term unemployed, those under 30 years or over 55 years, those who are at risk of social exclusion, as well as all those who have participated in training actions, in a complete way, promoted by the City Council during the last 3 years. ”
Thus, both companies that convert labor contracts into permanent ones, as well as the new 2018 contracts that are directly indefinite, will receive a grant of € 1,800 as long as they have a minimum duration of 12 months
Finally, the counselour has indicated that "this initiative sums up to the aid for entrepreneurs approved last week by the government and demonstrates the budgetary effort made by the City Council to promote entrepreneurship and the creation of new job opportunities for all citizens ”.
